A kind of cultivator · also called garden claw, hand claw, claw cultivator, garden cultivator
About
A hand cultivator is a small, clawed gardening tool about a foot long, designed for loosening soil and weeding beds.
Hand cultivators typically have three curved metal tines attached to a short handle. They are far more compact than full-sized garden cultivators, which often have handles four to five feet (1.2 to 1.5 m) long for use while standing. Most hand models range from 10 to 14 inches (0.25 to 0.36 m) in length, keeping them nimble enough to work closely around delicate plants without disturbing their root systems.
From Wikipedia
A cultivator is a piece of agricultural equipment used for secondary tillage. One sense of the name means a frame with teeth that pierce the soil as they are dragged through it linearly.
