A kind of gravel · also called River rock, Egg stone, Landscape egg rock

About
Egg rock is smooth, rounded landscaping stone that weighs about 12 ounces per cup when packed together.
Egg rock has a bulk density of about 90.5 pounds per cubic foot (1.45 g/mL). Because the rounded stones leave gaps of air between them, loose egg rock weighs less by volume than solid stone. It is substantially heavier than wood mulch and packs down with less shift than finer pea gravel. A standard half-cubic-foot landscaping bag holds about 45 pounds (20 kg) of stone.
From Wikipedia
A pebble is a clast of rock with a particle size of 4–64 mm (0.16–2.52 in) based on the Udden-Wentworth scale of sedimentology. Pebbles are generally considered larger than granules and smaller than cobbles.
