A kind of nut butter
About
Almond butter is a dense, spreadable nut paste that weighs slightly more than an equal volume of water.
With a density of about 8.85 ounces per cup (1.06 g/mL), almond butter is slightly heavier than water. A typical 1-pound (454 g) jar holds about 1.8 US cups (428 mL) of spread. It takes up nearly the same volume as common peanut butter, fitting considerable mass into a compact space. Stirring in separated surface oil can slightly shift how tightly it packs into a container.
From Wikipedia
Almond butter is a food paste made from grinding almonds into a nut butter. Almond butter may be "crunchy" or "smooth", and is generally "stir" or "no-stir" (emulsified).
