A kind of flour · also called Wholemeal flour
About
Whole wheat flour is a powdery baking staple that weighs about 4.4 ounces (125 grams) per level cup.
Whole wheat flour has a bulk density of about 0.31 ounces per cubic inch (0.53 grams per milliliter). This makes it slightly heavier by volume than sifted white flour, but only about half as dense as liquid water. Because the ground grain particles trap pockets of air, settling or spooning the powder into a cup can shift its measured weight.
From Wikipedia
Wheat flour is a powder made from the grinding of common wheat used for human consumption. Wheat varieties are called "soft" or "weak" if gluten content is low, and are called "hard" or "strong" if they have high gluten content.
