A kind of washer · also called Plain washer

About
A flat washer is a small, disc-shaped metal ring designed to spread out the force under a threaded fastener.
Washers come in dozens of standard sizes to match specific bolt diameters, ranging from tiny jewelry parts to heavy construction plates. Unlike lock washers or spring washers, plain flat washers are designed to stay slim and sit flush under bolt heads. The outer diameter is typically double or more the width of the bolt hole at its center.
From Wikipedia
A washer is a thin plate with a hole that is normally used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener, such as a bolt or nut. Other uses of washers are as a spacer, spring, wear pad, preload indicating device, locking device, and to reduce vibration.

Quick answer
A standard flat washer measures about 1 inch (0.025 m) across and 0.08 inches (0.002 m) thick, weighing roughly 0.21 ounces (0.006 kg). This makes it about the same diameter as a US quarter, but much thinner.
