About
The United States one-dollar bill is a lightweight paper note measuring just over six inches in length.
All modern denominations of United States paper currency share the exact same dimensions and weight as the single dollar note. Unlike banknotes in many other countries, American bills do not grow larger with higher values. Because of its slim profile, a tightly packed stack of about 125 dollar bills measures only 1 inch (2.54 cm) thick.
From Wikipedia
The United States one-dollar bill has been the lowest value denomination of United States paper currency since the discontinuation of U.S. fractional currency notes in 1876. The obverse shows the first U.S. president (1789–1797), George Washington, based on the 1796 Athenaeum Portrait by Gilbert Stuart, and the reverse shows the Great Seal of the United States.
