About
The auto rickshaw is a compact three-wheeled motorized cab designed to carry passengers through narrow city streets.
Compared to standard cars, auto rickshaws have a much narrower footprint, allowing them to weave through dense urban traffic. They are heavier and more rigid than bicycle rickshaws, yet weigh only a fraction of a passenger automobile. While passenger models typically seat three riders behind the driver, cargo variants may feature slightly longer or wider rear beds.
From Wikipedia
An auto rickshaw is a motorized version of the pulled rickshaw or cycle rickshaw. Often called a tuk tuk, it is usually a three-wheeled vehicle, powered by an engine.
