About
The Boeing 737-800 is a widely flown narrow-body passenger jet stretching nearly 130 feet long.
This aircraft is the most common model in Boeing's 737 Next Generation family, slotted between the shorter 737-700 and the stretched 737-900. While its empty frame weighs 90,400 pounds (41,000 kg), its maximum takeoff weight can exceed 174,000 pounds (79,000 kg) when filled with fuel, passengers, and luggage. The top of its tail fin rises as high as a four-story building, yet its passenger cabin holds just six seats across in a single aisle.
