About
The western gray squirrel is a large tree squirrel native to the Pacific coast, stretching over twenty inches long.
It is the largest native tree squirrel along the Pacific coast, noticeably outmatching the common eastern gray squirrel in size. Males and females share roughly the same body dimensions and weight. A significant part of its total length comes from its bushy tail, which often makes up nearly half of the animal.
