About
A school cafeteria is a large communal dining hall built to feed hundreds of students at once.
The overall footprint varies depending on the school level and student enrollment. High school dining halls are usually much larger than elementary school rooms because they seat several hundred teenagers per lunch period. Ceilings are built higher than normal classrooms to manage acoustic noise and provide better airflow for cooking equipment and large crowds.
From Wikipedia
A cafeteria, sometimes called a canteen outside North America, is a type of food service location in which there is no waiting staff table service. Cafeterias are different from coffeehouses, although the English term came from the Spanish term cafetería, which carries the same meaning.

Quick answer
A standard school cafeteria measures about 66 feet (20 m) long, stands 15 feet (4.5 m) tall, and weighs roughly 330,000 pounds (150,000 kg). That length is equal to about two full-size school buses parked end to end.
