A kind of shrimp · also called Cherry shrimp, Neocaridina davidi

About
The red cherry shrimp is a tiny freshwater aquarium pet that reaches just over an inch in length.
This popular aquarium pet is a selectively bred color variety of the wild freshwater dwarf shrimp Neocaridina davidi. Females tend to grow slightly larger and develop deeper red color than the males. Unlike many larger edible shrimp species that grow several inches long, these dwarf shrimp remain tiny throughout their one to two year lifespan. Newborns skip a free-swimming larval stage entirely and hatch as fully formed miniatures under 0.08 inches (2 mm) long.
