About
Ready-mix concrete is a pre-blended construction material that weighs more than twice as much as water.
Ready-mix concrete has a typical bulk density of about 147 pounds per cubic foot (2.35 g/mL). Because it is a dense blend of rock aggregate, sand, and wet cement, it is much heavier than loose dry sand or pure water. A small bucket of wet concrete can easily weigh over 40 pounds, taking up very little space for its mass compared to lighter building materials.
From Wikipedia
Ready-mix concrete (RMC) is concrete that is manufactured in a batch plant, according to each specific job requirement, then delivered to the job site "ready to use".
