A kind of maltodextrin

2 views: its portrait, and how it looks in the comparison photos.
About
Maltodextrin powder is a lightweight carbohydrate that takes up about twice the space of granulated sugar by weight.
Maltodextrin is a dry carbohydrate powder with a bulk density of around 31 pounds per cubic foot (0.5 grams per milliliter). A standard US cup weighs about 4.2 ounces (118 grams), because the fine powder holds a significant amount of trapped air. This low density means it takes up roughly twice as much space as the same weight of regular table sugar.
From Wikipedia
Maltodextrin is a name shared by two different families of chemicals. Both families are glucose polymers, but have little chemical or nutritional similarity.
