About
Essential amino acids powder is a lightweight supplement blend weighing about 4.6 ounces (130 g) per standard measuring cup.
With a bulk density of roughly 34 pounds per cubic foot (0.55 g/mL), this dietary powder is fairly light and loose. It takes up about the same space as all-purpose flour, where a typical 1-pound (454 g) tub fills around 3.5 US cups (825 mL) of volume. Compared to denser supplements like creatine or table sugar, essential amino acids take up noticeably more container space per ounce.
From Wikipedia
An essential amino acid, or indispensable amino acid, is an amino acid that cannot be synthesized from scratch by the organism fast enough to supply its demand, and must therefore come from the diet. Of the 21 amino acids common to all life forms, the nine amino acids humans cannot synthesize are valine, isoleucine, leucine, methionine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, threonine, histidine, and lysine.
