About
The common chimpanzee is a muscular African great ape that stands about waist-high to an adult human.
Chimpanzees are noticeably larger and thicker in build than their closest cousins, the bonobos. Males are generally heavier and broader than females. Even though a chimp stands well below an adult human's shoulders, its wide chest and dense muscle give it a far heavier build than its height might suggest.
From Wikipedia
The chimpanzee, commonly abbreviated to chimp, is a medium-sized great ape species found in the forests and savannas of equatorial Africa. It has four confirmed subspecies and a fifth proposed one.

Quick answer
A common chimpanzee stands about 3.3 feet (1 meter) tall, measures 2.6 feet (0.8 meters) long, and weighs around 110 pounds (50 kg). That puts it at roughly the height of a preschool child, but with the weight of a lean adult.
