A kind of car
About
A clown car is a heavily modified microcar built to fit dozens of performers into an impossibly small space.
Circuses create these props by gutting tiny production vehicles, removing seats, door panels, and trunk dividers to maximize open volume. While the exact dimensions depend on the base model used, the cars are chosen for their tiny exterior footprint. Despite being shorter than almost any modern passenger car, a properly prepared vehicle can hold between 14 and 21 performers along with their props.
From Wikipedia
A clown car is a prop in a common circus clown routine, which involves a large number of clowns emerging from a small car. The first performance of this routine was in the Cole Bros.
