About
Citrulline malate is a tart supplement powder that packs about 5.9 ounces (166 g) into a standard measuring cup.
With a bulk density of about 44 pounds per cubic foot (0.7 g/mL), citrulline malate settles into a moderately compact powder. Because it is denser than common baking flour, a measured dose takes up relatively little volume in a scoop. A standard serving of 0.21 ounces (6 g) occupies less than two level teaspoons (8.6 mL). Named after the watermelon from which citrulline was first isolated, the amino acid is bonded with malate to create this granular supplement.
From Wikipedia
The organic compound citrulline is a non-essential α-amino acid. Its name is derived from citrullus, the Latin word for watermelon.
