About
The rock pigeon is a familiar city bird that measures about 13 inches long and weighs under a pound.
Within the dove and pigeon family, the rock pigeon is medium-sized, noticeably bigger than a mourning dove but much smaller than crowned pigeons. Males and females look nearly identical, though males are typically slightly heavier. Despite having a round, stocky chest, its compact body and hollow bones keep it surprisingly light for easy takeoff.
From Wikipedia
The rock dove, also known as the common pigeon or rock pigeon, is a member of the bird family Columbidae. In common usage, it is often simply referred to as the "pigeon", although the rock dove is the wild form of the bird; the pigeons familiar to most people are the domesticated forms of the wild rock dove.

Quick answer
A rock pigeon stands about 10 inches (0.25 m) tall, measures 13 inches (0.33 m) long, and weighs about 12 ounces (0.35 kg). That gives it roughly the height and weight of a standard one-pound loaf of sandwich bread.
