About
The llama is a tall, domesticated South American pack animal that stands roughly shoulder-to-shoulder with an average adult human.
The llama is the largest of the South American camelids, growing significantly bigger than its close relative, the alpaca. Males and females reach similar overall sizes, typically weighing between 290 and 440 pounds (130 to 200 kg). Although its head reaches human eye level, a llama's back sits lower at roughly 4 feet (1.2 m) high, which made it an ideal height for Andean cultures loading cargo onto its back.

Quick answer
An adult llama stands about 5.7 feet (1.75 m) tall at the head, measures 5.6 feet (1.7 m) long, and weighs around 330 pounds (150 kg). This makes it about the same height as an adult man, but roughly twice the weight.
