A kind of flamingo

About
The greater flamingo is the tallest and heaviest of all flamingo species, standing on exceptionally long, slender legs.
This bird is the largest of the six living flamingo species. Males tend to grow slightly taller and heavier than females, but both sexes have the same gangly build. Despite reaching more than four feet in height, hollow bones and a lean body keep its weight surprisingly low.

Quick answer
A greater flamingo stands about 4.1 feet (1.25 m) tall, measures 2.6 feet (0.8 m) long, and weighs around 6.6 pounds (3 kg). That makes it about as tall as an eight-year-old child, but lighter than a typical domestic cat.
