About
The gray wolf is the largest wild canine in the world, standing significantly taller and heavier than a coyote.
As the largest wild member of the dog family, the gray wolf easily dwarfs closely related species like coyotes and jackals. Males are generally up to twenty percent larger and heavier than females. Actual size varies widely across their range, with wolves in northern regions often growing heavier than those in warmer southern areas. Much of their impressive height comes from their long limbs, which help them navigate deep snow.
From Wikipedia

Quick answer
A typical gray wolf measures about 5 feet (1.5 m) long, stands 31 inches (0.8 m) tall at the shoulder, and weighs around 88 pounds (40 kg). This puts its weight close to a large adult German shepherd, though a wolf has longer legs and a narrower chest.
