About
The Eurasian wild boar is a sturdy, widespread wild pig that stands roughly waist-high to an adult human.
Wild boars are the direct ancestors of domestic farm pigs, though modern domestic breeds are often fattened to much heavier weights. Males are consistently larger than females, and boars living in colder northern climates often grow much bigger than those in warmer regions. Despite their stocky build and short legs, their dense muscle lets them sprint and jump over obstacles with surprising speed.

Quick answer
A typical Eurasian wild boar stands about 3 feet (0.9 m) tall at the shoulder, stretches 4.9 feet (1.5 m) long, and weighs around 187 pounds (85 kg). That makes it roughly as heavy as an adult man, but with a much lower, more compact body.
