About
The corn snake is a slender, harmless North American constrictor that reaches about three feet in length.
Corn snakes generally range from 2 to 6 feet (0.6 to 1.8 m) in total length, though most adults stay around 3 to 4 feet. Males and females are fairly similar in overall size, though mature males often have slightly longer tails. Although people frequently confuse them with venomous copperheads, corn snakes have noticeably thinner bodies and narrower heads.
