About
The black panther is a dark color variant of leopards or jaguars, growing over six feet long.
A black panther is not a separate species, but a melanistic color variant of either a leopard or a jaguar. Because of this, its size depends heavily on whether the individual cat is a leopard or the naturally stockier jaguar. In both species, adult males generally outweigh females by a wide margin. Aside from the extra dark pigment in its fur, it has the exact same skeletal frame and muscular build as a normal spotted big cat.
From Wikipedia
A black panther is the melanistic colour variant of the leopard and the jaguar. Black panthers of both species have excess black pigments, but their typical rosettes are also present.

Quick answer
A typical black panther measures about 6.2 feet (1.9 m) long, stands 2.3 feet (0.7 m) tall at the shoulder, and weighs around 121 pounds (55 kg). This gives it roughly the length of a standard sofa and the weight of a lightweight adult human.
