About
The Bengal tiger is a massive wild cat population that can stretch over eight feet long.
Bengal tigers are a regional population of the mainland tiger subspecies and rank among the largest living cats, rivaled in size only by Siberian tigers. Males are noticeably bigger than females, which typically weigh between 220 and 350 pounds (100 to 160 kg). Despite carrying hundreds of pounds of bone and muscle, their powerful legs allow them to leap forward more than 20 feet (6 m) in a single bound.
