About
The American mink is a slender, semiaquatic predator that measures less than two feet from nose to tail.
American minks show distinct sexual dimorphism, with adult males often growing considerably larger and heavier than females. It is noticeably larger than a least weasel but much smaller and lighter than a river otter. Its long, low-slung body allows it to move easily through tight burrows and swim after fish and frogs.
From Wikipedia
The American mink is a semiaquatic species of mustelid native to North America, though human introduction has expanded its range to many parts of Europe, Asia, and South America. Because of range expansion, the American mink is classed as a least-concern species by the IUCN.
