About
The alpaca is a small domesticated camelid from the Andes, standing roughly chest-high to an adult human.
Alpacas are noticeably smaller than llamas, their close relatives, which often weigh more than twice as much. Adult males and females are generally similar in size, with most individuals falling between 120 and 180 pounds (55 to 80 kg). A dense coat of fleece adds substantial visual volume, making the animal look much heavier than it actually is.
From Wikipedia
The alpaca is a domesticated species of South American camelid. Traditionally, alpacas were kept in herds that grazed on the level heights of the Andes of Southern Peru, Western Bolivia, Ecuador, and Northern Chile.

Quick answer
An average alpaca stands 4.3 feet (1.3 m) tall, measures 4.3 feet (1.3 m) long, and weighs about 143 pounds (65 kg). This puts its body weight close to that of an average adult human, though its frame is much more compact.
