About
The Allosaurus fragilis was a late Jurassic predatory dinosaur that grew to nearly twenty-eight feet in length.
This species was the most common large predator of its ecosystem, though it was considerably smaller than the later Tyrannosaurus rex. Fossil specimens vary in length, with some individuals measuring closer to 25 feet (7.6 m) while rare adults approached 32 feet (9.7 m). Despite its substantial length and height, internal air pockets in its vertebrae helped keep the animal relatively lightweight.

Quick answer
An average Allosaurus fragilis was about 28 feet (8.5 m) long, stood 10.5 feet (3.2 m) tall, and weighed roughly 4,400 pounds (2,000 kg). This makes it about as long as a minibus and similar in weight to a full-size pickup truck.
