About
The Alaska moose is the largest moose subspecies, standing taller at the shoulder than most adult humans.
This animal is the largest subspecies of moose in the world, easily outgrowing other varieties found across North America and Eurasia. Males typically reach much heavier weights and taller shoulder heights than females. A mature bull also supports wide, heavy antlers that add significant width and presence to its already massive frame.
